Compatibility

How to verify

Quick in-car checks

  1. Open Toybox and check whether Boombox is available in your Tesla UI.
  2. Confirm your car plays a low-speed pedestrian warning sound when driving slowly in Drive or Reverse.
  3. Test USB import by adding a Boombox folder and up to five sound files.
  4. If features are missing, verify your build date and ask Tesla service whether PWS speaker retrofit is available for your VIN.

Important note

Compatibility depends on build date, region and installed hardware. Final validation should always be done on your own vehicle using your VIN and current Tesla software.
